Through the Plastic Tide Turners Challenge, Scouts are encouraged to take action against plastic pollution and promote environmental conservation.
The initiative creates awareness about the dangers of plastic waste while encouraging young people to adopt responsible habits such as reducing single-use plastics, reusing materials, recycling and participating in community clean-up exercises.
As Scouts, we have a responsibility to lead by example. Whether through proper waste disposal, educating others or organising clean-up activities, every small action contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment.
The Plastic Tide Turners Challenge reminds us that environmental conservation is not a one-day activity but a continuous responsibility. It is about turning awareness into action and inspiring others to do the same.
Remember: A good Scout does not leave the environment the way they found it; they leave it better.
Turn the tide against plastic, one action at a time!
